Iconic is like a tardis, small on the outside and not much bigger on the inside but its packed full of interesting pieces.
Located in the heart of the Old Town, Edinburgh this is a great shop to find something retro, vintage and Scottish. The owner is friendly and will answer questions about authenticity and where pieces come from, his wee Scottish Terrier watches guard at the front door while being fast asleep in its basket. The prices ranges from £1 upwards with some real collectibles.
Its a wee bit of eye candy if you enjoy design, vintage, retro and collectibles in general. The shop opens about 1pm most days so don’t bolt down there after breakfast, although a look in the busy window can be good. There are not many shops of its type stocking such good quality, if you are after something special or just an enthusiastic browser pop in.
