Milk cafe serves good food fast in Edinburgh’s West End beating the hum drum of predictable sandwich shops hands down.
From the outside this place looks cool with striking lettering and a slightly retro look and feel. MILK is white and fresh inside with old cafe style benches and tables that give the wee place charm. A good food, breakfast and lunch place that has a seasonal menu using local produce in the West End. They even have an ethos of good food at good prices which having looked at the menu and the chiller cabinet rings true.
Sandwiches to light meals cost between £1.50-£7, and they do a small range of canned fizzy drinks that are organic and homemade drinks which include homemade lemonade, the stuff of childhood memories and as good!
They have a selection of home baked cakes and muffins and do coffee, tea, herbal and others. We will be going again.
